Ead Wood & The Heights Share “Oceans” | New EP Out 11/9
Ead Wood & The Heights shared surf-grunge second single, “Oceans,” from Ead Wood’s debut EP, Beige Dreams. As a collaboration between Ed Soles as Ead Wood and band Margot as The Heights, the single is an exploration of a different sound than Ead Wood’s “Ignored.”
The idea for “Oceans” came during Soles’ attempt to make a pumpkin pie in his Bristol home, but unfortunately resulted in an “inedible, salty pumpkin pie.”
“My thoughts were all over the place,” he explained. “A lot of change was going on in my life, and my head was such a jumble that I kept forgetting ingredients.”
The experience did, however, result in a song capturing the turbulent and disorderly time in his life.
Ead Woods’s upcoming EP Beige Dreams will be released on November 9th, and he will be performing in Bristol and Southsea in November.
