Operating in a genre-defying space, the Australian-based band Moaning Lisa creates a unique atmosphere in their music, which they’ll be further exploring in Do You Know Enough?. As a chronicle of emotional milestones that often mark people’s early 20s, the EP follows a queer girl exploring longing, heartbreak, her own self-discovery.

Anyone looking for music that gives them a sense of ease and peace can find it within “Comfortable,” the latest single from Moaning Lisa. Coming off their upcoming EP, the song’s steady reliable beat and vocals infuse the listener with an ambiance and sense of, simply put, comfort.

Describing the song, vocalist Charlotte Versegi noted “Comfortable” was about the encompassing meanings of comfort; from helping other people feel ‘comfortable,’ about feeling ‘comfortable’ and finding comfort.

“It’s a confident, albeit sardonic, journey,” she said, “from accepting to celebrating being by yourself.”

Do You Know Enough? will be released on Father/Daughter Records in the U.S. and Hysterical Records in AU on October 19, 2018.

The track's slow-burning nature gradually builds to a frantic wall of guitars before dropping back down to a soft and sweet outro; symbolic of the emotional roller coaster associated with coming to terms with oneself after a significant breakup.
