Guitar Center | Just Say Play
INSIGHT: School boards are cutting funding for the arts, limiting children’s exposure to music at young ages
IDEA: Inspired by old anti-drug PSA ads from the 1970-2000s, this campaign for Guitar Center plays on faux-fears of parents wanting to raise their children “right.” The Just Say Play campaign targets parents worried about the loss of the arts in public schools shows the “consequences” of children getting involved in music as an extracurriculars.

Campaign Plus-ups: Beginner Musician Promotions
To continue the Just Say Play campaign pushing for more investment in arts education for children and young adult musicians, Guitar Center will promote their music lessons and beginner retail options in-stores and online. The email campaign will highlight the many resources already made available, such as lessons by experts available in retail stores and the online equipment buying guides available for customers. In addition, the campaign will offer promos for affordable, entry-level gear options and instrumental lessons that will focus on getting people started in their music-learning journeys.
